STEP 1

This is the menu on the top left of the fromt page.

Click on "Create Account" to create your account or click on "Login" if you already have an account

STEP 2

Fill in this form, read and agree to the terms and conditions, enter the security code and click on the submit button.

You MUST enter a valid email as a registration will be sent to that email. If you do not enter a valid email address you will not be able to complete the registration process.

The IP address at the bottom is your IP address and will be registered, this allow us to ban fraud IPs.

STEP 3

To place an ad or register your club, website or business, click on "Advertise"

STEP 4

Select the membership that applies to your classified.

Select one of the two "Classified membership" if you are placing a boat or accessories ad or select one of the "Directory membership" if you are registering a club, a business or a website.

Caution, if you select "Clubs & Non-profit" and want to sell your boat, this will not give you the correct options in the next step.

Note the time limit, your ad will expire after this time but you will be notified and can renew it.

STEP 5

Select the appropriate "Primary Classification".

This is where you want your ad to appear. Click on the ' + ' sign to extand the choice.

In this example we extended the "Kayaks classified" category and selected "Fishing kayaks"

STEP 6

The title of your ad is very important, make sure it's right and catchy.

Some memberships allow the use of search engine "friendly URL" (not shown here). Do not enter it as "www.website.com", the system does not allow "dots", use "keyword-keyword" instead.

Sometimes we allow you to place your ad in several categories, in this case you can select a second category in the "Categories" window.

For example, your fishing kayak could be used as a recreational kayak as well so this would make it apprear in both fishing and recreational kayak categories.

The short description will only appear in the listing results, keep it short.

DO NOT forget to enter the main description here! If you do not, nothing will appear in your listing page, this is what other people will see in your listing.

Keywords are not required but important, this will help your ad to be found by Google and other search engine. The first keyword should match your title and is the most important.

STEP 7

Meta description is to let Google know what your page is about and appears on Google searches below the link to your page.

Meta keywords will be populated with the "Keywords" if left blanks. This is if you want to give Google other keywords than above.

Your address is facultative, if you enter it, it will show in your page.

Select your region

Enter your city and zip. This will show and allow the Google map to display on your page. If you do not enter it, you can't be found if a user does a search by city or zip code.

The other fields describe your boat, be as precise as you can be to increase your chances of being found.

For accessories, and ads in the directory section, the entry fields will be different and adapted to your category.

Finalize by clicking on the "Submit" button.

Notes: some ads need admin approval and will not immediately display.

STEP 8

This is the confirmation you submitted your ad.

To ad Pictures, upload Documents, special Offers (for businesses), Edit your ad, view your Statistics, please click on the appropriate icon under "Manage".

You can come back to this by clicking on "Listings" (see menu on step 3).
